Mike Pyle

Mike Pyle joined the Thorne Insurance team in January of 2017 when Walther Insurance Agency merged with Thorne Insurance Agency. Mike is a 1981 graduate of Manchester High School and a 1984 graduation of Purdue University majoring in Agricultural Economics.

He began his insurance career as an agent in 1982, working with his grandfather Maurice Walther, who started the Walther agency in 1959. Mike and his wife Cindy became owners of the agency in 1984 and operated it from their home until 2017.

Mike and his wife reside on their Hoosier Homstead Farm near Silver lake, which has been in his family since 1837. From there, they own and operate Pyle Farms producing corn and soybeans. They have three married children and are enjoying being grandparents.
