Joel Barrus

Joel Barrus joined Thorne Insurance in September 2010 as an agent in our Wabash office. He is a 1998 graduate of Wabash High School and a 2003 graduate of Manchester College, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Prior to joining Thorne, he taught 5th grade for four years in Wabash.

Joel is a property and casualty agent who writes auto, home, and commercial lines of insurance. Since joining, he has won the Top Sales Producer (TSP) Award from 2012 to 2020.

He resides in Fort Wayne with his wife, Meghan, and their son.
